Officer Matt Bloodgood is with the Anchorage Police Department. He has been with APD since 1990, and currently works in the Patrol Division. He has been a member of the Crisis Intervention Response Team since 1992. Currently Matt works as the Less Lethal Weapons Cadre Leader for CIRT. He is the departments lead instructor for kinetic energy weapons. Matt is also an APSC Instructor certified to teach firearms, chemical agents, noise flash diversion devices, less lethal weapons, and the Taser International M26. He is a certified instructor for Less Lethal Weapons for the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
