Bill Gifford
Bill Gifford has been a police officer for 30 years. He retired from the
Anchorage Police Department in 2002, after 24 years of dedicated service.
He has been consulted in many homicide and death investigation cases throughout
Alaska as well as the lower 48 states. Bill is a court recognized expert in
crime scene reconstruction and blood stain pattern analysis. Bill has been
consulted in over 300 homicide investigations. He is the editor of the
Association of Crime Scene Reconstruction Newsletter. Bill is the
Vice-President of the Pacific Chapter of Association of Blood Stain Pattern
Analysis. He is a certified instructor with the Alaska Police Standards Council
his topics include autopsy, crime scene, homicidal investigation, photography
and weapons of mass destruction.
