Fire Department Registration Status
Fire Department Registration status changes monthly as it is dependent on compliance with:
- Annual Summary Report - A summary report must be completed annually by using information from the
previous calendar year and
- Membership Roster - Fire Departments are required under the registration process to forward a
current list of all members. Any changes in membership must be sent within 10 days of these changes taking
place and
- ANFIRS - For a Fire department to continue their registration status, they must report
every fire and fire related incident to the Division of Fire and Life Safety monthly per
13 AAC 52.020.

than happy to help with correcting any missing documents and provide needed information.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are some fire departments that may not have their city, town, or village name in
their fire department name. Please use the ‘sort’ option by clicking on Fire Department Name or City in the titles to
locate them.
FD Registration Status Definitions:
- Yes = The department is currently registered
- No = The department is NOT currently registered
- N/A = Registration is Not Applicable to the department
