Investigation revealed 23-year-old Jessica Dewitt of Saxman had discharged a firearm numerous times from inside the residence. Individuals within the home were able to exit the residence without injury. Troopers along with Ketchikan Police Department Officers responded and set up a perimeter around the residence while attempting to establish negotiations with Dewitt. At approximately 0830 hours Dewitt appeared at the front door and surrendered to troopers without further incident. Subsequent investigation revealed Dewitt caused approximately $1,000.00 worth of damage to the residence and belongings inside. Alcoholic beverage consumption is believed to be a contributing factor. Dewitt was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was remanded on MIW II, MIW IV, Assault III (DV) x4, Reckless Endangerment x 5, Criminal Mischief III (DV) and held without bail. As part of Lime's probation conditions, he was not allowed to possess any items with internet connectivity. Lime was found to be in violation of his probation conditions. On 12-31-2012 under the direction of the Juneau Adult Probation Office, Lime was arrested and transported to the Craig City Jail where he was remanded on a probation violation. The damage caused a substantial interruption in the electric system of Coffman Cove causing the system to switch to emergency diesel backup generators for approximately 24 hours. The total cost to repair the damage to electric system is estimated to be over $10,000. Subsequent investigation revealed that William "Joe" Hintermeister, age 57 years old of Naukati had died of natural causes. Hintermeister had been found by a friend in a state of medical emergency and Naukati EMS had responded. After approximately 45 minutes of CPR and the use of an AED, Hintermeister passed. Next of kin was notified and the State Medical Examiners Office advised that Hintermeister's body could be released to the family. No foul play is suspected. Dolly Varden Drive in Wasilla for the report of a disturbance involving a knife. AST contacted Jamesdavid K. Santiago, age 31 of Wasilla, during the incident. Investigation revealed Santiago recklessly placed a non-family member in fear of imminent serious physical injury by means of a dangerous instrument. Additionally Santiago recklessly placed two family members in fear of physically injury by his conduct during the incident. Santiago was arrested for the original charges of Assault in the Third Degree and Assault in the Fourth Degree x 2 counts and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody and held without bail. Slover of Wasilla for one count of Vehicle Theft, one count of Attempted Vehicle Theft and Criminal Tresspass. Investigation revealed approximately two days ago Slover stole an Oldsmobile Cutlass from a residence off of Meadow Lakes Loop. Slover broke into a Motorhome located on the same property and found keys to the Oldsmobile in the Motor home. The vehicle was recovered the following day and returned to the owner. On 1/1/13 at approximately 1615 hours Slover returned to the residence and attempted to steal the Oldsmobile. Slover was detained by the homeowner until Troopers arrived. The temperature at the time was about -35 and wind was staring to build. Seaman was able to tell dispatch his vehicle had battery power but it would not remain running. Seaman's cell phone died and he had not been able to provide his location on the Tok Cutoff. Troopers from Glennallen and Northway responded to their respective ends of the Tok Cutoff to try and locate Seaman. Seaman was found at mile 85 of the Tok Cutoff in good health and he was transported to Tok.
