B Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Wasilla Case number: AK13000916 Type: DWLR, False Information Text: On 1/4/13 at approximately 1223 hours Alaska State Troopers stopped a white 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix on Williwaw Way, Wasilla for a moving violation. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Lacey Szybnski; age 27 of Wasilla was operating the vehicle on a Revoked Driver's License and gave the Troopers a false name. Further investigation revealed Szybnski is on Palmer Probation for MICS 4. Szybnski was arrested for DWLR, False Info/Report and Probation Violation. Szybnski was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and held without bail. The vehicle was released to the passenger. Investigation revealed on two separate occasions Clark Robeson, age 45 of Wasilla, recklessly placed the complainant in fear of serious physical injury by means of a dangerous instrument. Further investigation revealed Robeson recklessly placed a family member in fear of physical injury and interfered with the report of a DV crime. Troopers observed Robeson operating a red Chevrolet pickup near mile 51 of the Parks Highway and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for the felony assault. Robeson was also found to be operating the vehicle on a revoked driver's license. Robeson was arrested for Assault III x2, Assault IV DV, Interfering with the report of a DV crime, and DLWR. Robeson was remanded into the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held without bail. Investigation revealed Ina Shade 52, of Togiak was found unresponsive in her residence. Next of kin have been notified. The Medical Examiner was also notified who declined an autopsy due to medical history and released her back to family. Author: DRB0 Received Saturday, January 05, 2013 10:05 AM and posted Saturday, January 05, 2013 10:53 AM Location: Nunapitchuk Case number: AK13001080 Type: Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the First Degree, Felony Assault on a Police Officer x two counts, Assault in the Third Degree, Vehicle Theft in the First Degree, and Probation Violation Text: On 01/05/13, the Village Police Officers in Nunapitchuk conducted a disturbance investigation and during the investigation an intoxicated Larry Mojin, 19, of Nunapitchuk pulled a firearm on the officers before stealing the Police Department snow machine. Mojin fired several shots from the snow machine while he traveled through the village, before he barricaded himself in his parents' residence. The Village Public Safety Officer and the Alaska State Troopers responded to assist. After a lengthy negotiation period Mojin surrendered without further incident. Mojin was taken into custody and remanded to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.
