Investigation revealed Adam Noyes, age 42 from the United Kingdom, assaulted an individual whom he was living with. Noyes was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on no bail. Investigation revealed that 25-year-old Shawn Surls of Wasilla was operating the vehicle with a revoked driver's license. Further investigation showed a passenger identified as 21-year-old Ashley Hubbs also of Wasilla was violating her parole on the original charge of MICS 4th. Both individuals were remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. Surls was held on $1000 bail and Hubbs was held without bail. Investigation revealed Brandon J. Scholberg, age 25 of Wasilla, was in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Scholberg was issued a summons for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance VI and released from the scene. During the investigation Troopers contacted Ryan A. Huntley, age 47, of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Huntley had assaulted a family member and intentionally caused damaged to property. Huntley was arrested at the scene. Huntley was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail. An investigation was conducted and charges for Sexual Abuse of a Minor will be referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice as the suspect is a minor child. Investigation revealed that Vanreenan has an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Vanreenan was arrested and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident. Author: EDH0 -------------------------------------------------- Received Saturday, January 19, 2013 7:19 AM and posted Saturday, January 19, 2013 7:47 AM E Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Mi 145, Sterling Hwy Case number: AK13004442 Type: MVC-Injury Text: On 1-19-2013 at 1643 hours a green 1995 Dodge pickup, driven by Anthony Larocca, age 46, of Kenai, was traveling northbound on the Sterling Highway near milepost 145. Larocca attempted to pass a vehicle in front of him. As Larocca passed the vehicle he lost control of the Dodge truck and crossed the center line. An Alaska State Trooper assigned to the Anchor Point Post was traveling southbound in a 2013 Ford Explorer. The Trooper took evasive action but the Dodge truck spun out and struck the driver side of the Ford Explorer. The Trooper sustained minor injuries and was transported to the South Peninsula Hospital by EMS and later released. Larocca and his two passengers did not report any injuries. Impairment is not a factor in this collision. The AST vehicle was towed from the scene due to significant damage. The Dodge truck was operational. Seatbelts were worn by all parties. The Bureau of Highway Patrol's investigation is ongoing.
