A Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Coffman Cove Case number: AK13004589 Type: Burglary I x2, Theft II x3 Text: On 1-20-2013 at approximately 1230 hours, Klawock AST received a report of two residential burglaries that had occurred sometime in the early morning hours in Coffman Cove. It was reported that two firearms, a chainsaw, a logging block with bailing wire and cash had been stolen. Subsequent investigation identified Steven Colcord, 23 years of age of Klawock, as a suspect. Colcord was later located by AST in Klawock. He admitted to the burglaries and lead AST to retrieve the stolen items. He was arrested and transported to the Craig City Jail where he was remanded on two counts of Burglary in the First Degree and three counts of Theft in the Second Degree. He was held without bail pending arraignment. Alcohol was reported to be a major factor in this incident. Brown, age 45 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Brown had a felony arrest warrant for Felony DUI, Felony Refusal, and DWLR. Brown was arrested and remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $15,000 bail plus court approved third party. Investigation revealed the passenger Amy Houston-Pocock, age 23 of Wasilla, had an outstanding arrest warrant for the original charge of Theft in the 4th degree. Houston-Pocock was arrested for the warrant and an additional charge of possession of marijuana and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was held on $250 bail. Author: CKH0 Received Sunday, January 20, 2013 6:20 PM and posted Sunday, January 20, 2013 6:13 PM C Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Marshall Case number: AK13004435 Type: Assault 3, Misconduct Involving Weapons 4, Criminal Mischief 3 Text: On 1-19-13, at about 1530 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a complaint from a Marshall resident that 26 YOA Kyle Myers of Marshall was intoxicated, was in possession of a shotgun and had threatened to shoot his father. At least three shots had been fired and it was unknown if there are any injuries. State Troopers from Aniak responded and at about 1738 hours, contacted intoxicated Kyle at a friend's residence in Marshall. Investigation revealed Kyle reportedly discharged a .308 caliber rifle at least five times next to several Marshall residences and threatened to kill several individuals. In addition he broke an arctic style window on a residence across the street from his resulting in more than $500 in damage. Kyle was arrested on multiple counts of Assault 3, Misconduct Involving Weapons 4 and Criminal Mischief 3. State Troopers transported Kyle to Aniak where he is currently being held pending the next available flight to Bethel at which time he will be remanded to YKCC. David (age 23 of Girdwood, AK) for Driving While License Suspended. David was contacted on a traffic stop for a moving violation in the Girdwood area. A records check confirmed David's Alaska driver's license was suspended for failure to maintain liability insurance. David was operating a 90's model sport utility vehicle. David was issued a traffic citation for the moving violation and a misdemeanor mandatory court appearance citation for DWLS. David was released at the scene. Text: On 01-19-13 at 1623 hours, Alaska State Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol responded to several REDDI reports involving a vehicle traveling sou th on the Glenn Hwy near Palmer. Troopers contacted the driver of the vehicle in Palmer and identified him as John Michael Slowikowski age 41 of Sutton. Investigation at the scene revealed that Slowikowski was Driving While Under the Influence of an intoxicating beverage and Driving while License Revoked. Slowikowski's license is revoked until 2094. After being arrested Slowikowski refused to provide a breath sample as required. Slowikowski was arrested for Felony DUI, Felony Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and Driving While License Revoked. Slowikowski was remanded into custody at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial facility on $20,000 bail. His vehicle was impounded.
