Investigation revealed Dalton Fiedler, age 32 of Houston, was driving southbound on the Parks Highway near Vine Road in Houston in a green 2004 Saturn. The traffic stopped on the roadway, leaving him in the intersection, when the light turned red. Fiedler then backed up and in to a blue 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van driven by Mary L. Rose, age 50 of Wasilla. No injuries were sustained, both Fiedler and Rose was wearing their seat belts and only minor damage was sustained. Limitation on Backing citation was issued to Fiedler. Local volunteer rescuers, clinic medical personnel and an Alaska State Trooper responded to the village. Investigation revealed at approximately 1630 hours a red and white Cessna 172, owned and operated by the Kuspuk School District, departed Kalskag for Aniak. The plane was carrying three school district employees. Reportedly just prior to the time of departure weather conditions significantly deteriorated. The aircraft was attempting to fly along the river, when it crashed onto the ice covered Kuskokwim River causing it to flip over. The pilot was identified as 44 YOA Steve Bruckner of Aniak and passengers 52 YOA Brian Foley of Aniak and 55 YOA. Roy Guernsey of Anchorage. All three occupants were medevaced; Roy to Providence Anchorage and the other two to YKHC in Bethel. All are listed in stable condition. Investigation revealed that a 27-year-old male and his 24-year-old girlfriend had been drinking and had gotten into an altercation. During the altercation, the female had unplugged the VHF radio that the male was calling for help on and threw his cell phone out into the yard. Dannica Eilers, age 24 was arrested for Assault 4 DV and interfering with the report of a DV. She was transported to the King Salmon jail for arraignment. The investigation revealed that on 2/4/13 between 0200 and 0600 hours, a 25-year-old female was repeatedly beaten by her boyfriend, Adrian Kyle Ticket, 24 YOA of Selawik, while at their Selawik residence. The victim sustained a broken finger as a result of the assault and multiple bruises. The victim attempted to take cover inside of a bedroom and locked the door. Ticket forcibly opened the door by punching it causing approximately $300 damage to the door. Ticket was arrested for Assault 2nd. Additional charges are being referred to the Kotzebue District Attorney's Office for consideration. Ticket was transported to Kotzebue and remanded to the Kotzebue Regional Jail without bail. Paul 47, was outside of a residence yelling and causing a disturbance. Paul was later contacted and found to be intoxicated. A records check also showed Paul to be on Felony probation from a 2011 drug case with conditions not to consume alcohol. The probation officer was contacted and Paul was subsequently arrested for a probation violation. Paul was later transported to the Dillingham Jail. James Anderson, age 27 of Chignik Bay came home after being gone since the middle of September to find that his house had been broken into. Troopers responded to investigate and gather evidence. Anderson's house had approximately $2,000 damage done to it and at least one item was stolen from the house. This case is still under investigation. Mannino was booked into the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of Criminal Mischief III for participating in setting off an explosive device that recklessly caused damage to property in the area. There is no evidence at this time that suggests that any individual or property was targeted. Troopers are still in the process of collecting information from property owners affected by the explosion. The investigation is ongoing. Text: On 2/2/2013 at approximately 1615 hours, an explosion occurred on a makeshift shooting range in a residential area in Fairbanks. The makeshift range is on the property of a local resident in the area of Heath Way and Gateway. The explosion was of such magnitude that at least 12 residences were affected. All had multiple items fall off walls and shelves some of which resulted in property damage. At least six of the residences received actual damage to the structures themselves. The blast blew out windows, soffits, vents, and other parts of the homes. The Alaska State Troopers and The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are continuing the investigation. The damage to the building was estimated at $1000 and the value of the stolen merchandise was $2,327.45. Further investigation revealed Denney had consumed alcohol and the designer drug spice. During the investigation, investigators found 39 grams of heroin hidden inside the parcel and delivered the parcel to it's intended recipient. Subsequently, investigators executed a search warrant at the recipient's residence located off of Cascade Drive in Anchorage. As a result of the search warrant service, investigators seized numerous items of evidence to include a loaded handgun and arrested Shaun A. Murphy, age 28, of Anchorage, from the home. Murphy was remanded into Anchorage Jail and charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 2nd, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4th, Misconduct involving a Weapon 2nd, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Subsequent investigation revealed that Demantle and Lott were traveling to Akiak with twenty-two (22) 750ml bottles of alcohol, which were seized by investigators. Howard of Kake. Howard was found deceased by a member of the community inside the arctic entry of the Memorial Presbyterian Church. Howard's body will be sent to Anchorage for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death. Investigation revealed Rebecca Childers, age 25 was Southbound on KGB in her 2007 Chevy passenger car when she lost control and crossed into the Northbound lane where she collided head on with a Northbound 1997 Ford pickup truck operated by Gary Thompson, age 64 both of Wasilla. Childers vehicle then collided with the rear of a Southbound 2007 Dodge pickup truck operated by Luke Fulp, age 32 of Wasilla.
