Investigation revealed Pauline Ward, age 29 of Anchorage, had an arrest warrant for failure to satisfy judgment for importing alcohol into a dry area. Ward was arrested and remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $250 bail. The man was medivaced to Anchorage for treatment. Nome Alaska State Troopers arrived in Shaktoolik shortly after the incident and conducted an investigation. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the attempted suicide and there is no foul play suspected. Investig ation revealed that Suskuk was intoxicated and in possession of a three yea r old child. Antone then left the child alone in a residence. Suskuk was on conditions of release in another case and two of his conditions were to obey all state laws and not to return to New Stuyahok, which he violate d both conditions. Suskuk was remanded at the Dillingham Correctional fa cility pending his arraignment. Subsequent investigation revea led 21 YOA Raven Alexandria Levi of Lower Kalskag got into an argument and physical altercation with an adult male relative at her residence. Levi su bsequently slapped the male, threw a fire poker at him, slashed him with a knife and then superficially stabbed him once. Raven was arrested on 2/13/ 13 and transported to Bethel where she was remanded to YKCC without bail pe nding arraignment on three counts of Assault 2-DV. Investigation revealed Peter Lochner, age 24, of Anchorage was driving a blue GMC Van southbound on the Parks Hwy when a he collided with a Caribou. There was approximately $20,000 dollars worth of damage to the vehicle. Lochner reported wearing his seatbelt. No injuries were reported. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Joshua D. Burton, 28 YOA, of Anchorage. Investigation revealed Burton was on probation out of Anchorage and required to have a travel permit to travel out of the area. Upon notifying Burton's Probation Officer they advised to arrest him for the violation. Subsequently, Burton was arrested for the Probation Violation and transported to the Fairbanks Correction Center Facility where he was remanded and held for arraignment. AK Wildlife Troopers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Ketchikan Case Number: AK13008533 Type: Trapping closed season, Unlawful taking of big game, Fail to salvage Text: On 02/12/2013, Gregory M Johnson, 21 YOA, of Ketchikan, was cited for Trapping for Wolves during a closed season, unlawfully taking a Sitka Black tail deer with a snare, and failing to salvage the edible meat of a Sitka Black tail deer. On 07/23/2012, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a deer that had been caught in a snare near South Point Higgins Road in Ketchikan. Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded to the area and located nine set snares in two different areas. One snare had the remains of a deer that had been caught in the snare. Gregory Johnson was cited after investigation revealed the snares had been set approximately two years earlier by Johnson. Arraignment is scheduled in Ketchikan on 02/21/2013. Investigation revealed that a 1993 Ford Ranger driven by Andrew Wiggen (16 YOA, Fairbanks) crashed into a 2011 Subaru hatchback driven by Bruce Wammack (65 YOA, Fairbanks). Wiggen was driving too fast for conditions as he attempted to turn right onto the Old Richardson Highway from the Richardson Highway. Wammack was stopping for the stop sign when he was crashed into. Both were wearing seat belts. No airbags deployed and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Wiggen was issued a citation.
