Investigation revealed Chandelle Lee, age 27 of Palmer, had assaulted two family members, created a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another family member, and destroyed property belonging to another family member. During the investigation Troopers contacted Christina Kelley, age 25 of Houston. Investigation determined Kelley hindered prosecution by telling Troopers that her friend, Anna Pickens, age 39 of Houston, was someone else to avoid being apprehended for two outstanding warrants. Investigation revealed Pickens had two warrants for failure to appear on the original charges of NVOL in the amount of $1000. Pickens also provided Troopers with a false name. Both were arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial and held on $1500 bail each. Ferreira age 38 of Noorvik. Investigation determined Fe rreira had offensively touched the girl and placed her in fear. Trooper records indicated that Ferreira had an outstanding warrant for failure to a ppear for the original charges of failure to register as a sex offender; wi th no bail and 6 months to serve. Phillip Andrew 54, of Dillingham was returning from a hunting trip in the New Stuyahok area with two other snowmachiners when Andrew became separated from the group near the Iowithla River during a blizzard. The two others turned around to search for Andrew, however, they were unable to find him before returning to Dillingham. Andrew did not have GPS or any communication equipment and failed to show up. Strong winds and blowing snow that reduced visibility to near zero began during the morning hours of 2/19 and were forecast to continue into the early morning hours of 2/20. AST contacted Dillingham Search and Rescue who sent two searchers on snowmachines to the area Andrew was last seen. The searchers were not able to locate Andrew and were forced to return to Dillingham due to poor weather. Search efforts resumed on the morning of 2/20 with searchers leaving Dillingham and Aleknagik on snow machines and a Trooper helicopter from King Salmon. The helicopter was later forced to return to King Salmon due to limited visibility. At approximately 1045 hours, Andrew was located just off the trail in the treeline several miles east of the Wood River. Andrew took shelter in the trees after his snowmachine ran out of gas. He was is good condition and brought back to Dillingham. AST would like to thank the searchers and the Dillingham and Aleknagik SAR teams for their assistance. Investigation revealed Pengcheng Ye, age 25, of New Jersey was driving a silver Toyota 4Runner southbound on the Parks Hwy while negotiating a corner lost control of the vehicle and collided with the guardrail. This section of the Seward Highway is within the Seward Highway Traffic Safety Corridor. The crash investigation determined Lance Robert Calhoon-Dinwoodie (age 23 of Homer, AK) was operating an early 2000's model sport utility vehicle traveling southbound. The vehicle lost traction on the ice covered pavement. Calhoon-Dinwoodie was unable to maintain control of the vehicle. The vehicle struck the southbound side guardrail. The guardrail was damaged. Calhoon-Dinwoodie's vehicle sustained more than $500 damage and had to be towed from the scene. Calhoon-Dinwoodie and his adult passenger were using seatbelts and were uninjured.
