Investigation resulted in Trimmer being arrested for DUI and transported to AST Glennallen where he was held pending arraignment. Investigation revealed Kubacki had an outstanding AST arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of MICS 3rd Degree. Subsequently, Kubacki was arrested on the outstanding warrant and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial, and held with bail set at $2,000. Investigation revealed Dyllan Adams age 20 of Wasilla was operating a white 1994 Chrysler Concord when he skidded of the roadway into the ditch. Further investigation revealed Adams was operating his vehicle with a revoked license. Adams was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear at a later date and released on scene. No injuries were sustained. On 2/18/2013 at about 2200 hours, the snow machine traveler Darrel Nick, 37 of Pilot Station was located and made it safely back to Pilot Station. Nick had run out of fuel about 30 miles north of Bethel. No injuries were reported and Nick spent one night in the field. On 2-18-13 at about 0945 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in St Mary's were notified of a single overdue snowmachine traveler between Bethel and Pilot Station. The overdue traveler was last seen on 2/17/2013 at 1710 hours leaving Bethel on a newly purchased blue Skidoo GTX headed to Pilot Station. The traveler was unfamiliar with the trail and left Bethel with no extra supplies. An aerial search is being conducted and three ground search and rescue teams have been sent from Bethel, Pilot Station, and St Mary's on snowmachines to look for the overdue traveler. AST confirmed his conditions of release and verified he entered and remained in a residence owned by the petitioner. Ross was arrested for VCOR and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC). Investigation revealed 24-year-old Sarah Delon of North Pole was driving a 1993 Honda Accord and broke down on Plack Road. Delon was unable to move the vehicle from the roadway. David Mauldin, 40, of North Pole, did not see the disabled vehicle and struck it from the rear with his Chevrolet pickup. Mauldin was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Delon was outside her vehicle at the time of impact and was not injured. Alcohol was not a factor. Investigation revealed Gregory Stigen, of Wasilla, cut multiple trees in the refuge without a permit. Stigen then used a wheeled vehicle in the refuge to transport the trees from the refuge without a permit. Stigen was issued three misdemeanor citations and released at the scene. Responding fire fighters found a 5-year-old child injured in the fire and subsequently transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. The child died as a result of the injuries.
