Investigation revealed Jacobson had an outstanding AST arrest warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation on the original charge of Theft 2rd Degree. AST responded and further investigation revealed Theodore Knutson, age 31 of Soldotna, was under the influence of alcohol. Knutson was found to be on felony probation for Theft in the 2nd degree. Knutson was arrested for violating his probation, specifically for being under the influence of alcohol. Thereafter, he was transported to Wildwood Pretrial and held without bail. The Ketchikan resident could hear the Kasilof resident being assaulted over the phone and hearing such, the Ketchikan resident called AST to report the assault. AST responded to the scene and Brian Burroughs, age 43 of Kasilof, was placed under arrest for D.V. Assault in the 4th degree. Burroughs was transported to Wildwood Pretrial and held without bail. Further investigation revealed Austin Struthers, age 22 of Sterling was driving a 2001 PT Cruiser northbound near mile 21 of the Kalifornsky Beach Road. Struthers became distracted and drove off the roadway at 45 mph whereupon he struck an on-coming ATV 4-wheeler that was driving on the side of the roadway, in the opposite direction of the PT Cruiser. Due to the collision, the ATV rider, Justin Millage, age 27 of Soldotna, was thrown off the ATV, while the Cruiser drove into a pond off the roadway and became disabled. Troopers responded and further investigation revealed Millage was operating the ATV while under the influence of alcohol, whereupon he was arrested for DUI and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial and held without bail due to a prior DUI.
