Inga repeatedly punched the female in the face casing serious physical injury. Inga was arrested and charged with assault II. His bail was set a 10,000 cash corporate. Investigation revealed Nick had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to appear for ASAP on the original charge of DUI. Nick was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was remanded on $5,000 bail. Investigation revealed that Lois Chikigak, 30 of Alakanuk was operating the ATV at high speeds when she lost control of the ATV and it rolled over on her. Chikigak was pronounced dead at the local health clinic a short time later due to severe injuries. Alcohol use is suspected and the body is being sent to the States Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Next of kin has been notified. Investigation to continue. Author: ANM0 Received Tuesday, May 07, 2013 8:07 AM and posted Tuesday, May 07, 2013 8:30 AM Location: Estus Point across from Hagemeister Island Case Number: AK13029911 Type: Search and Rescue Text: On 5/05/13 at 0830 hours, a Togiak VPSO received a report that Roy Petersen, age 31, Ryan Andrew, age 29 and a thirteen year old were overdue from a hunting trip. Investigation revealed the three hunters left Togiak in the morning of 5/04/13 in a sixteen foot Lund and were traveling down the coast from Togiak. One of the VPSOs was hunting in Matogak Bay and observed the hunters to pass-by. The wave conditions were becoming more concerning at that time. On 5/05/13 at 1700 hours, a VPSO and a chartered pilot in a super-cub were deployed from Togiak. The hunters were located walking on the beach in the area of Estus Point. According to the adults, the waves were increasing and they beached the Lund, but they forgot to place the anchor outside of the boat. The tide came up and the Lund was over turned and carried out away from the beach. One of the adults attempted to swim out to retrieve the Lund, but was unsuccessful. An Icicles Seafood helicopter was chartered and deployed from Togiak. All three hunters were rescued by the helicopter and brought to Togiak where they were determined to be in good condition. Investigation revealed that a male suspect broke the locking mechanism on the arctic entryway of the home, and went inside. The occupant of the house feared for his safety, and confronted the intruder. The victim threatened to call law enforcement. The intruder went out of the house, and pulled the telephone cable out of the wall. A suspect has been identified, and charges will be filed when other necessary investigative steps have been completed. On 04/18/2013, Gregory M Johnson 21 YOA, of Ketchikan, plead guilty, to trapping for Wolves during a closed season. Johnson was fined $2050 with $1250 suspended. Court ordered a $400 restitution for the Sitka Black tail deer taken unlawfully in a snare and placed him on two years probation. In addition, Johnson's trapping license was revoked for a period of five years.
