Subsequent investigation revealed that Joey Adams, 32 years old of Hydaburg, was operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license. He was served a misdemeanor citation and released from the scene. A licensed driver responded to the scene and drove the vehicle away. Harris purchased a resident 2012 hunt and sport fish license to where Harris did not meet the Alaska residency requirements. Bail is set at $310 in the Ketchikan District Court. In addition, investigation revealed Harris took two black bears in game management Unit 1A as a non resident without non resident metal locking tag, the bag limit is only one black bear for non residents and by drawing permit only in game management unit 1A. Harris possessed both bears illegally. A mandatory court appearance is set for the Ketchikan District Court on 9-25-12.
