The driver was identified as Burt Whitesides, age 50 of Ketchikan. Investigation revealed that B. Whitesides was in posssesion of a small amount of hashish. Investigation revealed a residence had been broken into and items were stolen to include: two televisions, a laptop computer, a coin collection, and a cellular phone. The driver, Joshua M. Mullenix, age 24 of Wasilla, was on probation for MICS 4th Degree. Further investigation revealed Mullenix was in possession of marijuana. Mullenix was subsequently arrested for MICS 6th Degree and Probation Violation. Mullenix was remanded into Mat-Su Pretrial and held without bail. Investigation revealed a southbound black 2011 Chevrolet pick up truck, operated by 31 year old Jeremy Cromwell of Wasilla, rear end ed a stopped blue 2012 GMC Terrain operated by 19 year old Miranda Kizer of Wasilla. The GMC then in turn rear-ended a stopped green 2008 Honda Accor d operated by 47 year old Lynda Hill of Wasilla. Traffic was stopped as a result of an injured moose blocking traffic near the Knik River Access of t he southbound Glenn Highway. All parties reported wearing a seat belt and all vehicles sustained only minor damage. Cromwell and Kizer were transpor ted from the scene by AMS for treatment of minor injuries.
