A Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Klawock Case number: AK12240703 Type: DWLR Text: On 10/5/12 at approximately 1545 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Klawock conducted a traffic stop near the Control Lake junction. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Yodean Farrell, age 42 of Craig. Investigation revealed that Farrell was operating the vehicle with a revoked operator's license. Farrell was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for the charge of Driving While License Revoked. Investigation revealed Jennifer Lenthall, age 39 of Wasilla, was driving a 1988 Ford pickup Northbound on Wasilla Fishhook when she lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the road and collided with multiple trees. Lenthall was transported to Mat Su Regional Medical center where she was treated for minor injuries. The vehicle is estimated to be totaled. An investigation revealed that Jeffrey B. Egoak, 35 years old, had assaulted a woman by throwing her against a wall twice. A search of court records revealed Jeffrey Egoak had been convicted of Assault in the Fourth Degree once in 2010 and once in 2012. Jeffrey Egoak was arrested and transported from Napakiak to YKCC in Bethel. Hanson, age 23 of Levelock for Assault 4th Domestic Violence. AST inves tigation revealed Hanson had assaulted a female adult on 10/05/12, in the v illage of Levelock. Alcohol was a factor in this incident. Hanson was trans ported to King Salmon and remanded to the Bristol Bay Borough Jail awaiting arraignment on the above charge. Hurley III 21, of Ekwok on an outstanding warrant for resisting arrest, escape in the 2nd degree and felony probation violation stemming from an incident in Ekwok on 10-5-12 where the Ekwok VPSO attempted to arrest Hurley for a Felony probation violation for being intoxicated. Hurley fought with the VPSO and ran from the area. A warrant was issued from the Dillingham Court. On 10-6-12, two Troopers flew to the village and found Hurley hiding in a residence. Hurley again resisted arrest but was taken into custody and flown to Dillingham where he was remanded with bail set at $5000. Alcohol was involved in the incident. Incident to the contact, 2-750ML bottles of alcohol were found and seized from the traveler's checked bags. AK Bureau of Highway Patrol ------------------------------------------------- Location: Fairbanks, AK Incident number: AK12240544 Type: Warrant Arrest Text: On 10-04-2012, at 2300 hours The Bureau of Highway Patrol, conducted a welfare check on a vehicle and driver stopped in the intersection at 3rd Avenue and Noble ST. in Fairbanks. The vehicle was impeding the flow of traffic. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Ebba M. Bruce 27 YOA of Fairbanks. Bruce was experiencing a non emergency medical issue. Investigation also revealed Bruce had a warrant for her arrest for driving with a suspended license. Bruce was arrested and taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for medical clearance. Bruce was cleared and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center and remanded. Case number: AK12240981 Type: Motor Vehicle Collision - Fatality Text: On 10/06/12 at 1730 hours, Troopers received a report of a vehicle over an embankment near mile 54 of the Glenn Hwy. Palmer Troopers and BHP responded to the scene. Investigation determined Benjamin Loyer, 40, of Palmer was traveling northbound on the Glenn Hwy. when his 2004 Chevy truck began riding along the guard rail for approximately 200 yards before leaving the roadway. B. Loyer was ejected from the vehicle as it started to roll down the steep embankment. B. Loyer was located about 60 yards down the embankment and about 100 yards from the vehicle. B. Loyer was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the collision. Further investigation revealed B. Loyer was last seen nearly 12 hours earlier. Next of kin has been notified and the State Medical Examiner office responded to the scene taking control of the body. Investigation is continuing.
