Keel was contacted at a residence on Nichols Dr. in Houston after AST received a tip on his location. A passenger inside of the vehicle was identified as Vincenzo Yacovelli, age 19 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Yacovelli had provided false identification to troopers during a criminal investigation. Subsequently, Yacovelli was arrested for False Report. Yacovelli was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded, and held with bail set at $500. Investigation revealed Cameron Phillips, age 19, of Chuathbaluk, physically assaulted a household member, placed another family member in fear, damaged household property in value of approximately $100, and challenged a family member to a fight. Cameron was arrested and later transported to Bethel where he was remanded to YKCC pending arraignment. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident. Investigation revealed James P. Albert, 44 of Fairbanks, was operating a 2005 Ford sedan owned by Fairbanks Taxi. Albert was traveling eastbound and was attempting to change lanes when he accelerated to fast and the vehicle started to go out of control. Jessica Stanton, 33 of Fairbanks, was operating her 2000 Toyota sedan was also traveling east on Johansson Expressway and saw Albert's vehicle going out of control. Stanton took evasive action, but the vehicles collided with each other. No one was injured in the collision and both drivers were wearing their seatbelt. Both vehicles were operational with minor damage. Albert was issued a citation for Basic Speed. Investigation had previously revealed that Demientieff did not meet the qualifying requirements for the license. Bail was set at $310 in Aniak District Court. Investigation revealed that Simeon had broken into the cabin while in possession of a firearm, stolen firewood, and caused damage to the cabin during the process. Simeon had previously been trespassed from the cabin location. Simeon was arrested and transported to the Aniak Trooper Post pending transport to YKCC. This violation occurred within the Parks Hwy traffic safety corridor. Troopers identified the driver as Jessie K. Ottoson, age 26, of Wasilla. An investigation revealed Ottoson was operating the vehicle with a revoked driver's license stemming from a Felony DUI conviction until 2060. Ottoson was placed under arrest for driving with a revoked driver's license and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on $250 bail. Ottoson was also issued a citation for failing to provide proof of insurance.
