Investigation revealed tha t Charles Andrew's house had been broken into while he was away from the Vi llage. It was known that at least a Ruger mini 14 rifle had been stolen fro m the residence. While in the Village, Troopers recovered a Remington shotgun, a Ruger mini 14 rifle, bolt cutters, pry bars, and an entire bag of stolen property at a n abandoned house in the Village. Mochin 24, of Manokotak on a no bail warrant for failing to remand herself to the Dillingham Jail by 11-28-12. Mochin was transported to Dillingham and lodged at the Dillingham Jail. A new charge of violating conditions of release has been filed with the Dillingham Court for Mochin. Investigation revealed Bradley L. Beason, 27 of Anchor Point, placed a family member in fear of injury with a firearm. Further investigation revealed Beason was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Beason was arrested and remanded to the Homer Jail for Assault III and Misconduct Involving a Weapon IV. L. Smith received $1300 in fines and was placed on a one year probationary period for no fish and wildlife offenses. The caribou was forfeited to the state and given to charity.
