C Detachment Location: Manokotak Case Number: 12-63214 Type: Motor Vehicle Collision-injury Text: On 12/15/2012 at about 1252 hours, the Village Public Safety Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision between a truck and a 4 wheeler. Investigation revealed, Ariel Rachelle Gloko, 21, of Manokotak, was driving her truck eastbound on Manokotak Heights Road when she was struck head on by a four wheeler driven by a 14-year-old male juvenile who was driving too fast on an icy roadway and lost control as he traveled around a corner westbound on Manokotak Heights Road. Vamrie Rochelle Andrew, 19 of Manokotak and a 15-year-old female juvenile were passengers on the ATV and sustained minor injuries after they were ejected from the four wheeler. Gloko's vehicle sustained minor damage and the four wheeler sustained heavy damage. Text: On 12/15/12, the VPSO responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they observed Marcus Jonathan Wyagon, 21 of New Stuyahok kick a male subject in the face after he opened the front door to the home for the VPSO. Alcohol was a factor in this incident and Wyagon told the VPSO that he bought a bottle of alcohol from Dillingham and brought it back to Manokotak. Manokotak is dry village. Wyagon was arrested for the charges above. Hobson, age 47 of Nondalton, and an adult male were in a verbal and physical altercation in Hobson's residence. During the altercation, Luther Hobson shot the adult male in his leg. On 12/05/2012, A Grand Jury indicted Luther Hobson with Assault in the Second Degree and an arrest warrant for Luther Hobson was subsequently issued by the court. On 12/17/2012, AST contacted Luther Hobson in Nondalton and subsequently arrested, transported and remanded him to the Bristol Bay Borough Detention Facility on the arrest warrant with bail set at $10,000. Aniak Troopers responded to Sleetmute and after interviewing the victim, arrested 36-year-old Julia Zaukar for punching her nephew in the nose on the previous night. Zaukar resisted arrest. She was transported to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Complex in Bethel. Zaukar pled guilty to Assault 4 at arraignment. A small group of searchers including the Manokotak VPO went out on the trail and located the four machines with seven occupants near the Weary River. While most of the group was stopped, one of the lost snowmachiners came up behind the rest of the group stopped on the trail and ran into the back of an occupied snow machine. The driver of the snowmachine that caused the collision was identified as Dennis Alakayak 47, of Manokotak. Alakayak was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI. Alakayak was also found to be in possession of a bottle of alcohol. An occupant of the snowmachine that Alakayak ran into was identified as Andrea Mochin of Manokotak. Mochin, who is 6 months pregnant, initially complained of back pain and went to the local clinic as a precaution. She was later released and indicated she did not have any pain. Alakayak was charged with DUI, reckless endangerment and importation of alcohol. He was later transported to Dillingham and remanded at the Dillingham Jail pending arraignment. The Escape crashed into a 1973 Chevy truck being driven by 25-year-old Forrest Schuster. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The Escape was totaled and both vehicles were towed. The Ford slid out into the intersection was t-boned by 17-year-old Trevor Sageman in his 2005 Ford F-150. Nathan sustained a crush injury to his leg from being pinned in between the two vehicles and was transported to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Investigation revealed Ralph L. Moore, 53 of North Pole, was operating his 1995 Ford F150 and was traveling north on Holmes Road and was approaching Badger Road near Fort Wainwright. Ethan J. Baer, 27 of North Pole, was operating his 2006 Jeep and was traveling south on Montgomery Road and approaching Badger Road. Baer was going through the intersection when Moore started to make a left turn onto Badger Road. Baer then struck Moore's vehicle. No one was injured in the collision and both drivers were wearing their seatbelt. Moore was taken to the hospital by North Pole Emergency Services for chest pain where he was treated and released. Baer's vehicle sustained disabling damage. Moore's vehicle was functionally damaged. Moore was issued a citation for Failure to Yield while Making a Left Turn. Investigation revealed Mothershead caught six fish over the bag limit and McComish caught five fish over the bag limit on Finger Lake. The fish were seized and given to a charity. Investigation revealed Reutov was driving while impaired by alcohol and lost control of his vehicle rounding a corner and struck the guard rail. Reutov was remanded to the Anchorage Jail. Investigation revealed Steward had an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape II. Investigation revealed Drew Huntington, age 25 of Wasilla was driving a Chevy pickup on Church Road when she side-swiped a Ford pickup driven by Andrew Hammond age 42 of Wasilla. Huntington drove away from the scene, lost control of the vehicle and went into the ditch off of Church Road and Mystery Avenue. Investigation further revealed Huntington was impaired while driving. Huntington was arrested for Leaving the Scene of a Damage Accident and DUI. Huntington was transported to and remanded in MSPT with her bail set at $500.00. Author: AJB3 ------------------------------------------------- Received Tuesday, December 18, 2012 3:18 PM and posted Tuesday, December 18, 2012 3:26 PM ------------------------------------------------- Location: Wasilla Case number: AK12257231 Type: DWLS, Warrant arrest X2 Text: On 12-18-12, at 1906 hours, Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol, South Central Team conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Saturn sedan on Spruce Ave at Roy Rd for an equipment violation. Troopers identified the driver as Patrick D. McMullen, age 27, of Wasilla. An investigation revealed McMullen was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license stemming from a point's system violation. McMullen was also found to have two active warrants for his arrest with the first being for Theft 2 and the second for driving with a suspended license. McMullen was placed under arrest for the two active warrants and driving with a suspended license. McMullen was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held on a total of $5250 bail.
