Investigation revealed that Terry Mcgovern, 34, of Wasilla, was driving his 2009 GMC truck on Bogard Road. Mcgovern entered the intersection and collided with a 2000 Subaru that was driven by Ben Beasley, age 22, of Wasilla. Both parties were wearing their seatbelts. Beasley's passenger complained of a minor injury. The passenger was cleared by EMS and released on scene. AST responded and determined that a 42-year-old male resident of Kodiak was inbound on West Rezanof Drive when he lost control of his 2010 Ford pickup. The truck collided with a guard rail and then a ditch on the opposite side of the road. The driver was wearing his safety belt and reported no injuries. The truck sustained approximately $5,000 in damage and was rendered inoperable. The VPSO located and contacted Earl Samuelson JR on New Meshik Drive. Investigation revealed that Earl Samuelson JR was intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle and driving while his license was revoked. Earl Samuelson JR was arrested, transported and remanded to the Bristol Bay Borough Detention Facility for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Revoked where he was held pending arraignment.
