Investigation revealed a 21-yoa male had allegedly assaulted his 29-yoa girlfriend and damaged property at the residence. Investigation revealed an unidentified male and female had taken several boxes of food and other items from the store and left in a maroon Plymouth minivan. A concerned citizen attempted to assist store employees stop the couple and he was struck by the suspect vehicle as it left the parking lot. On 1/5/13 at approximately 2000 hours, AST observed a 1994 Plymouth Voyager matching the description of the suspect vehicle turning onto Pittman Road from the Parks Highway. AST stopped the vehicle and contacted the occupants. Jesse Beebe, age 53 of Big Lake, was arrested for Driving While his License was Revoked and Assault in the Third Degree for striking the citizen with his vehicle. Virginia Stamper, age 52 of Big Lake, was given a misdemeanor citation to appear in court at a later date for Theft in the Third Degree. Initial investigation revealed Bradley Read, 38, of North Pole pointed a gun at the woman following an argument and told her to leave the apartment. The woman left the residence and called 911. Troopers responded and set up a perimeter around the apartment. Read was taken into custody at 1500 hours after he willingly exited his residence unarmed. He was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon and fifth-degree criminal mischief. Investigation revealed that Oaksmith was in possession of 2 ounces of black tar heroin, which has a street value in Ketchikan of $28,345. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD) task force was called out and took over the investigation. The driver was identified as Amelia Fitts, age 31 of Wasilla. An investigation showed that Fitts was driving the vehicle with a revoked driver's license and that she was under conditions of release from a previous criminal case. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Donald Delgado, age 33 of Wasilla. It was determined that Delgado had an active warrant for his arrest issued by the Anchorage Court. Fitts and Delgado were arrested and remanded into Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $250 for Fitts and $1500 for Delgado.
