The arrest warrant stemmed from a Ketchikan Case involving a Theft IV charge. Huley was transported to the Craig City Jail where he was remanded without incident. Park Avenue at S. Knik Street, Wasilla. Investigation revealed Harry P. Caldwell Jr., age 23 of Wasilla, had operated his green 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier while intoxicated. Caldwell Jr. was arrested for DUI and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on a $500.00 unsecured bail. Moody had a $5000 warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with LEAP and a $100 warrant for failing to report for LEAP. AST conducted a traffic stop on Moody and subsequently arrested him for his warrants. During the contact Moody was found to be in possession of metal knuckles (brass knuckles). Moody was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC). Investigation revealed Jason Pugh, 35, of Delta Jct. was driving a 2012 Dodge pickup with a trailer eastbound on Jack Warren Road making a left hand turn onto Tanana Loop Ext. Pavel Budnik, 19, of Delta Jct. was driving a 2004 Vol kswagen eastbound on Jack Warren Road behind the Dodge pickup. Budnik attempted to pass the Dodge then realized the Dodge was turning left. Budnik swerved to the right colliding with the trailer. EMS responded to the scene and passengers were treated for minor injuries. AK Bureau of Investigation ------------------------------------------------- Location: Anchorage to St. Marys Incident number: AK13001721 Type: MICS 4th Text: On 1-8-13, at about 1100 hours, Anchorage WAANT received information that a 20 year-old female from Mountain Village, AK, would be traveling from Anchorage to St. Marys via commercial airline and would be smuggling marijuana. On 1-8-13, WAANT investigators made contact with the female at the Anchorage International Airport and seized one of the female's checked luggage after AST K-9 Duncan positively indicated for the odor of illegal drugs coming from the luggage. A search warrant was obtained and a subsequent search of the luggage resulted in the seizure of over 9 ounces of marijuana. The female suspect is expected to be charged with a single count of MICS 4th. This case will be forwarded to the Anchorage District Attorney's Office for their review. AK Bureau of Highway Patrol ------------------------------------------------- Location: Palmer Incident number: AK13001583 Type: Vehicle Theft 1st, DUI, DWLR, MVC-D Text: On 1/7/13 at approximately 1657 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a stolen Mazda Tribute SUV at Bogard Road near Nothshore Drive in Wasilla. At approximately 1759 hours the vehicle was stopped by Troopers on Valley Way in Palmer. The occupant was identified as Jason Bailey, age 29 of Anchorage. Investigation revealed Bailey stole the vehicle and drove from Wasilla to Palmer where he crashed the vehicle in an unknown location. Investigation further revealed Bailey was driving under the influence of alcohol and with a revoked driver's license. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $8,000. Bailey was arrested and transported to MSPT where bail was set at $5,000 performance.
