It was also reported that Kevin Dau, 38 years old of Craig, had been injur ed in the incident and was transported to the Alicia Roberts Medical Center for treatment. Investigation revealed Jason Stanton, age 46, of Palmer had destroyed property belonging to a family member. Stanton was arrested for Criminal Mischief 5th (DV) and remanded at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. He was held without bail. Investigation determined Beasley had two warrants for her arrest in the amount of $500 for failure to appear on the original charge of DWLR. Investigation also determined Ottoson had a warrant for his arrest in the amount of $1000 for failure to appear on the original charge of DWLR. Both subjects were transported to Matsu Pretrial and remanded into custody on $1000 bail each. Investigation revealed Terry Shade, age 43 of Nikiski, placed four non-family members in fear with a firearm. Troopers contacted Shade in the area during a traffic stop and investigation revealed Shade was also driving under the influence of alcohol and possessed a firearm while intoxicated. Shade refused to submit a sample of her breath for a chemical test and was additionally charged with refusal. Shade was arrested without incident and was transported and remanded to MSPT where she was held on $10,000 dollars bail. Troopers arrived on s cene and investigation revealed that 24 YOA Phyllis Effemka of Sleetmute, u sing a knife assaulted a family member by stabbing him in the face causing an injury that required medical attention. The family member was further i njured as was Effemka. The knife was taken away from Effemka and both part ies were separated. Both parties received medical attention. Effemka is b eing charged with Assault II DV, Assault IV DV and Reckless Endangerment. Effemka was arrested in Sleetmute on 2/26/13 on an outstanding warrant pert aining to this incident. Effemka was transported to Bethel. Her bail was set at $20,000.00 cash. Investigation revealed Nicholson purchased multiple Alaska resident fishing and hunting licenses over the past eight years while receiving benefits from the State of Washington and did not qualify as an Alaskan resident. A mandatory Court arraignment is scheduled in the Palmer District Court. The indictment stems from the joint investigation of the Alaska Bureau of Investigation Mat-Su Property Crimes Unit and Palmer AST Patrol investigations into a string of residential and cabin burglaries in and around the Wasilla, Houston, and Big Lake areas from October 2011 to March 2012. Crawley was arrested by AST Palmer Patrol on 3-28-12 on an outstanding arrest warrant for an unrelated case, and is currently being held at the Spring Creek Correctional Center. The juvenile is currently being housed at Mat-Su pretrial. The cause and circumstances surrounding Robinson's death is still under investigation. An autopsy has not yet been completed by the State Medical Examiner's Office. Text: On 2/26/13 at approximately 0308 hours, Wasilla AST received a report of a death at a residence in Wasilla. Troopers and EMS responded to a home in the area of Pittman road. An adult male was located and EMS declared him deceased on scene. The deceased is identified as William Robinson, 57 of Wasilla. Next of kin has been notified along with the state medical examiner's office. Cause and circumstances of the death are under investigation. Daniel Matthew Hill, age 30 of North Pole, was identified as the driver. Investigation revealed he was impaired and under the influence of alcohol while driving. He was arrested for Felony DUI (3 prior DUI convictions) and additionally charged with Driving While License Revoked and Driving in Violation of a License Limitation. Hill was also in violation of his conditions of probation from a prior Felony DUI offense. Hill was remanded at Fairbanks Correctional Center and held with no bail pending arraignment. Jeremy Duane Jaeke, age 28 of North Pole, was a passenger. Jaeke was found to in possession of a firearm while intoxicated. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for Misconduct Involving Weapons 4th. Edwin Eugene Hanson, age 28 of Fairbanks, was identified as the driver. Investigation revealed his driver's license was revoked and that he had a limitation on his license requiring him to have an ignition interlock device installed. He also was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Failure to Appear at arraignment for a prior Driving While License Revoked offense. Hanson was arrested for Driving While License Revoked, Driving in Violation of a License Limitation and the warrant. He was remanded at Fairbanks Correctional Center. Bail was set at $3000.
