The driver was identified as Therese Cousins-Mahoney, age 54 of Ketchikan and was subsequently arrested for DUI. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was remanded and held on $1,500 bail. AST, USCG Police and Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS) responded to the scene. Investigation determined Chadwick E Griffin, 33, of Kodiak assaulted a 33-year-old female. Griffin was arrested, lodged at the Kodiak Jail, and charged with one count of 4th Degree Assault / Domestic Violence (a Class A Misdemeanor). Alcohol was a factor in the assault. AST and USCG Police responded to the scene and found an unoccupied 2002 Ford Escape rolled over and partially blocking the road way. Because the vehicle sustained extensive damage and was disabled it is considered a total loss. It was later reported the Escape had been stolen from Kodiak City. Yeager is currently on conditions of release and was not suppose to leave Dillingham. Yeager was arrested on the $5000 warrant issued by the court. Brandi was remanded at the Dillingham Jail. Troopers were able to contact the 47-year-old woman and determine that she was somewhere near the intersection of the east glacier trail and the nugget creek trail. Two member of the SEADOGS search and rescue team with one search dog and Wildlife Troopers departed the Mendenhall Glacier visitors center at about 6:00 PM and located the woman about 7:30 PM on the banks of Nugget Creek. The woman, a Juneau resident, was in good condition other than being cold and slightly wet. She was escorted back to the visitors center. Martinez was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration. During the stop it was also discovered that Martinez had made a false statement on his 2012 application for a resident class 5A low income fishing and hunting license by claiming residency when he was not entitled to do so.
