Investigation revealed that the residence was recently entered into and items were stolen from the residence. The items include a flat screen TV and numerous pieces of jewelry. During this investigation Troopers contacted 38 year old Kasandra M. Horton of Wasilla. Subsequent investigation revealed Horton was operating a 2008 Honda ATV while intoxicated when she witnessed the vehicle collision. Horton then removed both her vehicle and the motorcycle from the scene in an attempt to prevent them from being discovered during the investigation. Horton was arrested and remanded to MSPT where she was held on $2000 cash only bail. Investigation revealed it was a single vehicle collision involving an off road only motorcycle on the roadway. 20 year old Jeremiah Desilva of Wasilla had been traveling southbound on Vine Road operating a blue 2002 Yamaha motorcycle on the roadway when he was unable to negotiate a turn onto Hollywood Road and crashed on the roadway. Desilva was flown from the scene to MSRMC for treatment of injuries. The investigation is continuing and Desilva, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, is still undergoing medical treatment. Investigation revealed, Collin Warnick, 20 yoa of North Pole took a vehicle after having a dispute with the owner of the vehicle. Warnick was contacted by Troopers while he was driving the vehicle. Warnick was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and he had a firearm in his position. Warnick was arrested for DUI and Misconduct involving weapons in the 4th and 5th at which time he was transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center where he was remanded and held on bail.
