Investigation revealed that all four tires on a GCI work van had been punctured while the vehicle was parked at the residence overnight. AST investigation is continuing. Damage to the property is estimated at over $500.00. AST is reminding citizens to please be aware of suspicious activity and immediately report the incident to law enforcement. Investigation revealed Joshua Anderson, age 20 of Wasilla, was operating a 1998 Mercedes Benz eastbound on Bogard Road approaching the intersection with Lazy Eight Court. Anderson failed to operate his vehicle with due regard to avoid a collision and rear-ended a 2006 Subaru Outback operated by Elizabeth Turegeon, age 44 of Palmer. The damage to Turegeon's vehicle was minor and Anderson's vehicle was totaled. Both parties reported wearing their seatbelts and no injuries. Investigation revealed Leslie Williams, age 49 of Palmer, had passed away in her residence. Williams, next of kin was on scene. The State Medical Examiner responded and took possession of the remains. No foul play is suspected and investigation continues. Investigation revealed Peggy S. Rankin, age 42 of Palmer, was operating a 1999 Ford Taurus northbound on the Old Glenn Highway approaching milepost 10.5 when she slid on the icy roadway and struck an MTA box. Rankin's vehicle was totaled in the collision. Rankin reported wearing her seatbelt and no injuries. Investigation revealed Wesley Torgramsen (age 38 of Wasilla) was intoxicated when he assaulted a family member at the residence and drove away in a tan 1996 Chevrolet Suburban. Torgramsen's license was also revoked from a felony DUI conviction within the preceding 10 years. Torgramsen was located at a residence on Village Loop in Wasilla and was in possession of an amount of a Schedule IA controlled substance at the time of contact. Torgramsen was arrested without incident and remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail. The vehicle was impounded and is subject to forfeiture. Author: DAC1 Received Wednesday, October 31, 2012 6:31 AM and posted Wednesday, October 31, 2012 6:01 AM C Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Grayling Case number: AK12246561 Type: Shooting Text: On 10/30/12, at about 2358 hours, Aniak based State Troopers received a report that approximately a half hour earlier, an intoxicated 68 year old male resident of Grayling shot a 42 year old male resident of Grayling at the 68 year old males Third Street residence. The 42 year old male was medevac'd to Bethel and then to Anchorage where he is currently in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. At about 1129 hours, State Troopers arrived in Grayling via a Department Cessna 182. Investigation revealed the two adult males had been consuming alcohol at the 68 YOA male's residence. The 42 YOA male left the residence and approximately a half hour later returned. The 68 YOA male refused his entry into the residence at which time the 42 YOA male began throwing large un-split firewood logs through the glass paned kitchen window in addition to threatening to burn the residence down. The 68 YOA male confronted the 42 YOA male outside on his porch, but the 42 YOA male continued to threaten to beat up the 68 YOA male and burn the house down. The 68 YOA male then attempted to scare off the 42 YOA male by shooting several times towards him in the dark. One of the .22 caliber pump action rifle rounds struck the 42 YOA male at which time they both sought medical assistance for him. Alcohol was a contributing factor in this incident. A charge of Criminal Trespass 1, Criminal Mischief 3, and Assault 4 will be forwarded to the Bethel District Attorney's Office for review. As a result of the contact, seven 750ml bottles of R&R whisky were seized from one of the women's luggage. During the contact, Edgmon was found to be in possession of two un-p rescribed tablets of oxycodone. Oxycodone is a schedule IA controlled su bstance.
