Troopers responded to Mile Post 48.5 Parks Highway in Wasilla and contacted Shell without his CATP. Shell was arrested and remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $1000 bail plus new CATP. Investigation revealed Vernon Peterson, age 39, of Chuathbaluk assaulted a family member causing physical injury and damaged private property in value of $98. Troopers were unable to respond immediately to the village due to weather conditions. Peterson was located and arrested on 12/16/12. Peterson was later transported to Bethel where he was remanded to YKCC pending arraignment. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident. On 12/15/2012 Alaska State Troopers contacted Miguel at a residence on Mission Road to talk about the prior violation. Investigation revealed Miguel violated his conditions of release on 12/12/2012 and was violating his conditions of release by not being with his third party. Miguel was arrested for two counts of Violating Conditions of Release. Miguel's Third Party Custodian, Perfecto C. Santos, age 71, of Kodiak arrived on scene and was arrested for Violating Custodial Duties. Both Miguel and Perfecto were remanded to the Kodiak Police Department Jail where Miguel was held with no bail pending arraignment and Perfecto was held on $500 bail. AK Bureau of Highway Patrol ------------------------------------------------- Location: Wasilla Case number: AK12255080 Type: DUI, Drive in violation of license restriction, REDDI Text: On 12-16-12, at 2217 hours, Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol responded to assist Palmer Patrol Trooper who had located a REDDI vehicle on Camborne Drive at Bideford Blvd. The REDDI vehicle was a white Lexus SUV that had left a nearby gas station and the driver was observed to be impaired. The driver was identified as Zachariah M. Tanner, age 23, of Wasilla. An investigation revealed Tanner was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol and he was placed under arrest for DUI. Tanner was also required to have an IID in the vehicle he was operating, which was not present in the Lexus. Subsequently Tanner was also charged with driving in violation of a restriction on this license. Tanner was then transported and remanded into the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on $2750 bail plus a court approved third party.
