A Detachment Location: Ketchikan Case number: AK12257513 Type: Probation Violation, MCA, Habitual MCA Text: On 12/20/12 at 0034 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan contacted a suspicious vehicle near mile 7 of the North Tongass Highway. Investigation revealed that a passenger Aaron Ashcraft, age 20, of Ketchikan was under the influence of alcohol and was found to be violating his conditions of Felony Probation. Further investigation revealed that another passenger Andrew Powers-Toribio, age 18, of Ketchikan had also been consuming alcohol and had previously been convicted twice for MCA. Ashcraft was arrested for Probations Violation and issued a citation for MCA-1st Offense. Powers-Toribio was arrested for Habitual MCA. Both Ashcraft and Powers-Toribio was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center. Investigation revealed the driver provided false identification information. The driver was later identified as Cecilia Walters, age 36 of Wasilla. Walters was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charges of driving while license revoked. Walters was charged with an additional charge of DWLR and false information. Walters was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was held on $3,500 bail. Investigation revealed Brittany J. Ruiz, age 22 of Wasilla, intentionally damaged the property of a family member resulting in damage estimated at $350. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Michael Wool, age 22 of Wasilla was operating the vehicle on a Revoked Driver's License for prior point's violations. Further investigation revealed that Wool switched the tags on his license plates which originally expired in 2007. Wool was arrested for Reckless Driving, DWLR, and Misuse of Plates. Wool was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and held on $1,500 bail. The vehicle was impounded. Investigation revealed that a 2001 Dodge pickup driven by Kathleen Pefley collided with a snow drift and lost control, causing the truck to spin around and collide with the guard rail. No injuries were reported and the driver was wearing a seatbelt. Text: On 12-20-12 at approximately 1100 hours, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Southeast Alaska Cities against Drugs (SEACAD) task force responded to the area of Allen Court after a Juneau Police Department Community Service Officers noticed items related to the One Pot method of manufacturing methamphetamine. SEACAD responded and located six inactive One Pot labs consisting of two plastic 2L soda bottles and four plastic 16oz soda bottles that appeared to be discarded on a public area. Also in close proximity to the One Pot labs, were commonly used items associated with the One Pot method of manufacturing meth. SEACAD removed all items and they will be disposed of by a licensed company. Investigation continues. Troopers made contact with a passenger in the vehicle who was identified as Daniel Vincent Rincon, age 24 of Big Lake. Investigation revealed Rincon had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the original charge of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. Rincon was arrested, transported to and remanded in MSPT with his bail set at $250.00. Troopers made contact with the operator of the vehicle who was identified as Brent Owen Ladd, age 23 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Ladd was Driving While License Revoked.
